Zawadi Account
- A special savings account for
children below 18 years of age
- Parents and Guardians save
small amounts of money over a prolonged period into this
account which enables them to pay for school fees and other
needs of their children
- The minimum opening balance is TZS
5,000
- The account holder can withdraw maximum of four times
a year as long as the account will have a minimum
balance in excess of TZS. 20,000
- It inculcates a savings culture for the childre
- It earns
interest which is above that of normal savings account
“Biashara” Account
- A non-cheque book current account
for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
- Minimum
opening balance is TZS 20,000
- It inculcates a banking culture
to the MSMEs
- Account holders are able to access loans through
this account
Special Savings Account (SSA)
- A tailor-made savings account for
micro and small entrepreneurs.
- Opportunity for customers
to choose among different savings profiles, i.e. TZS 1,000 –5,500
- Minimum opening balance is as little as TZS 1,000.
- No service
charges
- Provides security for group based loans
- Instils a savings
culture to the MSMEs
Savings Account
- Minimum opening balance is TZS 10,000.
- Large amounts can
be withdrawn with a notice of only one day.

at the end of the year

Fixed Deposit Account
- Minimum opening balance is TZS 100,000
- Minimum term is three
months
- It earns higher interest as compared to the other
accounts
- The account can be used as a loan collateral
